Each person meets God in his or her own experiences.
This makes me stop and think for a moment about that summer in Cape Cod when I was walking along the beach and talking to my sister about going to seminary. How it would change my life, but how it would be changed for the better.
I am grateful that I went to seminary, that I will have the chance to be influential in the lives of others. Just as the pastors in my life have influenced me.
My prayer today is for all those in helping professions, that God grant them the ability to help those who need their help. That God help to guide them and watch over them. Amen.
